Music at Bethany United Methodist Church

Bethany's Music Program:

Bethany is blessed with a wonderful music program that touches one's heart and soul.  At Sunday services, our church choir and organist fill the Sanctuary with heartfelt, heavenly music.  Spirit filling cantatas and hand bell choir performances grace our Christmas and Easter seasons.   Guest musicians share their talents and virtuoso as part of our concert series.

Our George Nelson Concert Series:

These concerts are held once every one or two months on Sunday afternoons at 4 pm, and feature a variety of musicians, musical talents, types, and formats.  The series is named in honor of George Nelson, a former member of Bethany, who inspired us all with his steadfast faith, generosity, grace, love for all, hope, and courage.

The 2009-2010 George Nelson Concert Series Dates and Performers are:

• September 13, 2009 - Timothy Seaman.

• October 25, 2009 - Rudy Shackelford.

• March 21, 2010 - Elisabeth von Trapp.

• April 25, 2010 - George Corbett & Lee Jordan-Anders.
